Uber 3 Tip Hat-Trick for the UC
The countdown to the first puck drop of the season has begun. While you’re waiting in anticipation, we’ve got a 3 tip hat-trick to ensure that your ride to or from the United Center with Uber is as convenient and seamless as possible.
1.) Uber will be in hot demand tonight for all car types but particularly TAXI. Remember that BLACK cars will be SIGNIFICANTLY more reliable.
2.) Start requesting as soon as you’re leaving your seat. Give your driver a bit of time to fight the crowds, and ensure you won’t be waiting in the cold.
3.) There is a lot of foot traffic right outside the stadium. We suggest giving your driver a call to coordinate a pick up spot about a block or two away from the perimeter of the building. Remember, you can also set your pickup location a block away!
Our goal is to make sure your biggest worry of the night is who will win the face off and not your ride home.
If you have a friend in your group that hasn’t signed up for Uber yet, they can use the code BHAWKS13 to request their first ride and you can jump in to ride in style (and warmth) for free. This code is only valid for new clients in Chicago. Maximum discount is $30. Offer will expire at midnight.

The biggest qualities deemed necessary for this position are as follows:
- Ready to Grind - the hours are no joke, this is a 24-7 position. If you’re not ready to dream about Uber, it’s not for you.
- Work a Room - you need to be passionate about the product, and when you walk in a room, you’re not leaving ‘till everyone is a client.
- Smarts about Support - through the customer support component, you need to tame angry riders and turn them into passionate evangelists :).

"Just got a ride from Alex. Sitting in traffic I asked him about the CD he was playing and mentioned that it was really nice. He told me it was some Ukranian artist that he had on his computer, then pulled the CD out and handed it to me saying “Happy Election Day from Uber”. You guys are the best and it’s drivers like Alex that will keep me a customer for a long time. - Keep up the good work."

"Please do not shut UBER down.. My job depends on them. I am Full Time Driver for them. If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be working, which means now that I am working I am able to spend money in the community and help grow the economy. People love the service. Killing it will only be bring a bad name to Chicago. I thought the Mayor is all about Tech advancement? Cab Meters are old, out dated, and over Charge Clients. People that use Uber love the safety. The clean aspect of the car, and that they aren’t Long Hauled. So please think twice, your not only shutting a Company down, but your taking my job, my Income away."
